Return Period: Customers have a period of 30 days from the date of receipt to initiate a return request. This timeframe allows for adequate evaluation of the product and ensures that customers have ample opportunity to assess their purchase.
Eligibility for Returns: To be eligible for a return, items must be in the same condition as received, unworn or unused, with all original tags intact, and packaged in their original packaging. Additionally, a receipt or proof of purchase is required to process the return.
Return Process: To initiate a return, customers should contact our support team via email at sales@homeikea.com. Upon approval, customers will receive a return shipping label along with detailed instructions on how to return the item. It is important to note that items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.
Inspection of Returns: Upon receipt of the returned item, our team will conduct an inspection to verify its condition. Customers will be notified regarding the approval or denial of the refund based on the inspection results.
Refund Processing: If the return is approved, refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 10 business days. Customers should be aware that it may take additional time for their bank or credit card company to reflect the refund in their account.
Damages and Issues: Customers are encouraged to inspect their orders upon delivery. In the event of receiving a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, it is imperative to contact us immediately to facilitate a resolution.
Non-Returnable Items: Certain items are exempt from being returned, including perishable goods, custom products, and personal care items. Additionally, returns for hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases are not accepted. Customers should reach out for clarification regarding specific items if needed.
Exchanges: For exchanges, the most efficient method is to return the unwanted item and, once the return is processed, place a new order for the desired product.
European Union Customers: Customers located in the European Union are entitled to a 14-day cooling-off period, during which they may cancel or return their order for any reason. The same conditions regarding item condition and proof of purchase apply.
